Mike Maran in "Platero, Travels With a Donkey"
Mike
Maran always charms us with his ingenious stage adaptations on diverse themes –
last here in 2011 with "Italia ‘n'
Caledonia" and now back with an evening of Spanish stories by Nobel
Prize winner Juan Ramon Jimenez. He always finds talented collaborators to work
with, on this occasion brilliant puppeteer and stage designer Nino
Namitcheishvili and director Levan Tsuladze, both from Tbilisi, Georgia and
flamenco guitarist Craig Ogden playing music composed by Italian composer Mario
Castelnuovo Tedesco, commissioned by Segovia.
