William Wallace
William Wallace graduated BA (Hons) from Gray’s School of Art in 1990. He has taught at Thurso High School from 1991 to the present and married his wife here at Lyth Arts Centre. His work has focused on still life painting in oils, with subtle viewpoints, distorted perspectives and conflicting spatial relationships between objects. These new works include figurative and landscape images as well as still life elements and often feature bold areas of colour or texture. Currently he is teaching part time to enable him to spend more time on creating his work.
