Mazaika Duo in concertMazaika can take you on a troika to the heart of Russia, where you will experience the joys and sorrows of Russian folk and the fiery passion of the gypsy violin. The Duo consists of Igor Outkine – tenor/accordion/balalaika and Sarah Harrison – violin/domra. They will present highlights from their classical repertoire with operatic arias and works by Bach, Verdi, Vivaldi, Mozart and Rachmaninov.
The concert includes favourites from many countries with tangos from Argentina, Neapolitan song and Klezmer. As well as musical virtuosity, this will be an evening full of fun, excitement and twinkling humour – an unforgettable experience.
